Ingrid Mitchell

Osteopath

Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy)
Masters in Osteopathy

Ingrid loves being an osteopath and loves being an osteopath in the Bega Valley even more.  Prior to moving to the area Ingrid had a wide variety of jobs from outdoor instructing, numerous office based positions and many hospitality experiences.  All these different work places and travel experiences have meant that Ingrid is able to relate to many people in terms of their pain and injury whether acute or chronic.

Involvement in a variety of sports and physical activities, a few injuries, five years full time studying anatomy and physiology and regular ongoing study gives Ingrid a good knowledge base to help people understand what might be the cause of their pain or discomfort and what can be done through treatment and exercise to improve their health.  Ingrid enjoys treating people of all ages and has completed a great variety of courses to improve and maintain her osteopathic skills.

Ingrid enjoys encouraging people to do the exercise and activities they love as most of the time this is the best way to manage pain and improve physical wellness.  The hardest part is being consistent with exercise which Ingrid understands very well in relation to her own life filled with adventures in the local area and the boundless energy of her kids.

Ingrid finds working collaboratively with her colleagues at the Red Door Health Clinic as well as good respectful relationships with other local health practitioners very rewarding and hopes to practice osteopathy in Bega for many years.
